It would be well worth your time to check out this op-ed piece written by Ross Douthat entitled, Heaven and Nature.
The article has to do with Hollywood's obsession with the religion of pantheism, specifically the message communicated in the movie Avatar. I have watched the movie Avatar and found it to be an incredibly entertaining film...very well done.
As Christians we have to always be on our guard filtering images and messages that pass through our brains. Just because something stirs our emotions doesn't make it a truth. Our quest is to always be seekers of truth.
